Despite the striker being suspended by the team as a part of a police investigation, Manchester United included Mason Greenwood in their official squad filed to the Premier League.
The former England international is listed on the club’s list of Under-21 players who can play in the league this year, but this does not indicate that his situation has changed.
After being detained in late January on suspicion of rape, assault, and making a deadly threat, Greenwood, 20, has been placed on paid leave.
Following his January arrest for alleged rape, assault, and a death threat, the 20-year-old is still suspended by the club while police conduct their investigation.
Greenwood is not a member of United’s Europa League team.
Greenwood made his senior United debut in March 2019 and has since made 129 appearances while tallying 35 goals.
On January 22, against West Ham in a Premier League match, he made his final appearance for the team.
Although fans cannot buy shirts from United’s official website with Greenwood and No. 11 on the back, his player profile is still accessible.

The team has previously refuted online speculations that he would resume first-team practice. His profile was first deleted from the club’s mobile app, but a club representative clarified in April why it is still available on the club’s website.
Mason’s status, according to the spokesman, has not changed in the least, and we promptly took down his profile from the club app once he was demoted from the team in January.
