Six Manchester United players might go out on loan in the coming week.
For the remainder of the season, Charlie Savage will be on loan from Manchester United to Forest Green Rovers. Other players may follow him out of Old Trafford, if only temporarily.
This month, Erik ten Hag was able to add two players on loan. The addition of Wout Weghorst from Burnley and the replacement of Martin Dubravka as the No. 2 goalkeeper by Jack Butland.
Instead of hoarding the reserves, the club wants to send others out to play regular first-team football.
Sportshebron lists a few United players who might be joining Savage in accepting a loan offer.
Anthony Elanga
Elanga has not had a productive season despite having a breakthrough year under Ralf Rangnick the season before.
Under Erik ten Hag, the 20-year-old hasn’t scored a goal. He is, however, trailing a phalanx of talented wide players at the club, including Alejandro Garnacho, who has surpassed him.
Both Borussia Dortmund and Everton have a link to loan moves, but Ten Hag will have the final say.
Facundo Pellistri
Given Jadon Sancho’s impending return and the performance of other wingers, it might come down to a simple choice between Pellistri and Elanga. Recently, many United supporters have argued against Elanga in favor of keeping Pellistri in the starting lineup.
Di’Shon Bernard
Bernard, who is 22 years old, reportedly prefers to arrange another Championship loan before the deadline in January.
Brandon Williams
Williams, 22, has only participated in five competitive minutes of football for United this season.
He is in dire need of some regular football. However, is reportedly very eager to finalize a loan move before the January window closes.
Zidane Iqbal
Iqbal, a midfielder, reportedly wants to leave on loan this month. Although the loaning out of his close friend Savage might have hurt the Iranian international’s chances.
Axel Tuanzebe
Since the 2021 Europa League final, he hasn’t appeared for United. So sooner or later he’ll be looking for a way out. He is adaptable and capable of working for someone.
