Real Madrid is nearing completion of Joselu’s loan agreement.
Joselu is about to join Real Madrid, claims a report from the Spanish outlet MARCA. Due to Espanyol’s relegation to the Segunda Division, the striker’s contract’s relegation clause has become active. And the Merengues are almost done moving him to a loan.
Joselu is a late bloomer who, after moving back to Spain almost four years ago, has discovered his vocation. The Spaniard’s time in England did not go well, and his career benefited greatly from the move to Alaves in 2019. Additionally, he has performed admirably in the current season since joining Espanyol last summer.
The 33-year-old has been a lone bright spot for the Parakeets this season, despite their struggles to make an impact and impending relegation to the Segunda Division. Furthermore, a total of 17 goals and 4 assists in 38 games is commendable. But because Real Madrid is showing interest, Joselu’s time at Espanyol will probably come to an end this summer.
Mariano Diaz is probably leaving, so the Spanish powerhouses are looking for at least one striker.
