According to the report, Benjamin Sesko, a striker for Red Bull Salzburg, is among the players at the top of United’s shortlist and is “widely admired” by the club’s management. Sesko is 19 years old.
The Slovenian international Sesko signed a contract in August to join RB Leipzig at the end of the current campaign for €24 million (£20.3 million). According to The Telegraph, United is prepared to take a long-term approach with Sesko.
Vlahovic is one of the strikers United is looking at as potential Sesko replacements.
