According to reports, Manchester United is considering a move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been looking to leave Old Trafford in January after failing to find a new team in the summer, is being sought after by United.
Since Ronaldo’s contract with United expires at the end of the current campaign, the team has started making plans to sign a replacement up front.
According to The Telegraph, a new No. 9 will be United’s next significant addition. The club has prioritized the acquisition of a new striker.
According to the report, Benjamin Sesko, a striker for Red Bull Salzburg, is among the players at the top of United’s shortlist and is “widely admired” by the club’s management. Sesko is 19 years old.
The Slovenian international Sesko signed a contract in August to join RB Leipzig at the end of the current campaign for €24 million (£20.3 million). According to The Telegraph, United is prepared to take a long-term approach with Sesko.
Vlahovic is one of the strikers United is looking at as potential Sesko replacements.
The Serbian international was one of Arsenal’s top targets at the end of last year, but he ultimately decided to join Juventus in a £66.6 million deal.
