Man Utd confirms squad numbers for deadline-day acquisitions and clarifies the delay with Sofyan Amrabat.
The three players that Manchester United signed on the last day of the transfer window as well as new striker Rasmus Hojlund have squad numbers verified.
Hojlund will wear shirt number 11, the same one that he does for Denmark. The 20-year-old left Atalanta and joined United in a £72 million move. Due to a back problem, he will still have to make his club debut.
Erik ten Hag has confirmed that the Dane will be in the squad to face the Premier League runners-up from last season, therefore the match against Arsenal on Sunday might be the Dane’s first club debut.
Additionally, Altay Bayindir, a goalkeeper, has been given the number one jersey that David de Gea wore this summer.
The Goalkeeper
On the last day of the summer window, the 25-year-old, who is from Fenerbahce, arrived. He will likely take over for Andre Onana. International player for Cameroon with the same career-long number, 24, today.

Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia were both out, so Sergio Regulion was brought in on loan from Tottenham to fill in at left-back. He will wear the number 15, which was last worn by Marcel Sabitzer when he was on loan at Old Trafford during the second half of last season.
After agreeing to a one-year contract with the organization, Jonny Evans will don No. 35.
Further completing United’s flurry of late transactions was Sofyan Amrabat’s entrance.
The 26-year-old joined Erik ten Hag’s team on a loan agreement for the first year, with the possibility of extending it into a permanent arrangement the following summer.
Amrabat Squad Number
Sofyan will not make his debut against the Gunners, though, due to his tardiness in arriving. His squad number is still pending confirmation from United and will be made public “once his registration is complete.”
Hojlund has traveled to north London with Reguilon, Bayindir, Evans, and Evans.
Additionally, according to rumors Jadon Sancho and Scott McTominay did not travel. In addition to Shaw, Malacia, Mount, Varane, Mainoo, and Diallo, Sancho and Scott have now been added to United’s long list of injured players.
