Lautaro Martinez won’t be leaving Inter Milan this summer.
Since Lautaro Martinez has been in such brilliant form this year. Clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in signing him. The World Cup champion, however, is not for sale at any price, according to Inter Milan vice president Javier Zanetti.
Martinez has 25 goals and 10 assists across all competitions. He has been a vital member of Inter Milan’s lineup this year. The current league season hasn’t gone well for Inter Milan. But they have advanced to the UEFA Champions League championship round.
It will be intriguing to watch Martinez’s team try to win the Champions League this season. The Argentine recently helped his nation win the World Cup, and now he’ll be eager to help his club win a significant trophy as well. Currently, he is without a doubt among Europe’s top forwards. The interest in the player from Chelsea and Manchester United is therefore not surprising.
Someone like Martnez could help Chelsea with their goal-scoring issues as they have had trouble scoring consistently. He would also inject flair and creativity in the last third. Marcus Rashford needs more assistance and support next season because Manchester United is too dependent on him to score goals.
At Old Trafford, Martinez and the England international might make a strong partnership. Certainly, the 25-year-old deserves to compete at the highest level. The player’s readiness to stay at Inter Milan after this season, however, is still up in the air.
At San Siro, the Argentine international is obviously at ease. So long as they support his goals, there is no reason for him to force a transfer away from the club. With a few high-caliber additions, Inter Milan could look to once again contend for the league championship.
Martinez is unquestionably the focal point of their endeavor. But it will be interesting to see if Inter Milan can hold off the challenge from European powerhouses and keep him for the long haul.
