Kylian Mbappe sends message to PSG teammates after most recent Neymar breakup.
To his PSG teammates, Kylian Mbappe has sent a message. After the defeat to Monaco and following news of a dispute in the locker room involving Neymar.
Everything began last summer after being known that selling Neymar was a condition of the club agreeing to Mbappe’s request to stay in Paris and sign a new contract.
Although that never occurred, there was certainly a lot of tension between the two superstars, especially after Neymar was penalized for tripping a French forward early in the season.
However, manager Christophe Galtier did assert that everything was fine between the two forwards.
He and team captain Marquinhos is also rumored to have had stern words for Luis Campos, the Parc des Princes’ powerful “football advisor.”
Mbappe has since released a defiant statement. By uploading a picture of the PSG badge to his Instagram story along with the words “Let’s stay strong and united,” Mbappe is attempting to inspire his teammates.
Galtier recently appointed the World Cup Golden Boot winner from the end of last year as the team’s vice-captain. Presnel Kimpembe, who previously held the position, acknowledged that he was aware of the change.
On Saturday evening, Kimpembe was acting like a captain. After the team’s defeat by Monaco, Kimpepbe had to address the team’s fans using a megaphone.
Mbappe renewed his contract last summer, but reports that he was already dissatisfied led to rumors that he would leave the team back in October.
As a result of their defeat to Monaco, they have only collected 10 points from their previous seven games, and Marseille is only five points behind them.
In a matter of days, Galtier’s team suffered two losses after Igor Tudor’s group eliminated their rivals from the Coupe de France.
They are about to play a crucial Champions League match against Bayern Munich. However, with Mbappe and Lionel Messi both questionable, PSG may be dealing with an injury crisis at the worst possible time.
