How Ziyech brutally denied final day transfer exit as PSG upset at Chelsea.
Hakim Ziyech, a Moroccan athlete, was anticipated to be acquired by Paris Saint-Germain on loan from Chelsea. Sadly, confusion on deadline day has left the transfer in limbo.
Due to Chelsea’s mistakes with the required paperwork, Ziyech’s loan move to Paris Saint-Germain appears to have fallen through.
On the deadline day, Ziyech, 29, was supposed to finish his transfer to PSG. The Moroccan international’s departure from Stamford Bridge, however, pleased Chelsea. Ziyech arrived in Paris on Tuesday to complete the transaction, but as the day went on, there was little news of the transfer.
When the transfer was not successfully over in time, it was clear that Chelsea had submitted the incorrect paperwork. Even so, French reports claimed the Blues submitted the incorrect paperwork three times before the deadline.
PSG is furious at Chelsea
Additionally, PSG is now on the way to filing an appeal to complete the transfer after the cutoff date. Chelsea come to an agreement deal to acquire Enzo Fernandez but has not yet made a statement about the situation. This story could go on for days.
According to a PSG source, the situation is a “Class A circus,” The Athletic reported. It was clear that Ziyech would leave Chelsea in January. Additionally, Ziyech had only started four Premier League games this year. Since March of last year, he has not scored a club goal.
PSG was Ziyech’s top choice despite interest from many teams, including Newcastle, AC Milan, Roma, RB Leipzig, and many others. Although the transfer seems to be a formality, it is obvious that the player will remain at Chelsea.
Upon Ziyech’s transfer to PSG’s ending, he will have to try to save Chelsea’s season. However, the Blues are 10th in the Premier League standings, 10 points back of fourth-place Man Utd. In addition, FA Cup and Carabao Cup elimination for Chelsea already occurred.
Chelsea is still competing in the Champions League and will face Borussia Dortmund in the round of 16.
