After his team defeated Tottenham, Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo was not at all pleased.
The manager of Manchester United, Erik ten Hag, has spoken out over Cristiano Ronaldo’s tantrum after the club’s 2-0 victory over Tottenham on Wednesday. The Red Devils earned all three points on goals from Bruno Fernandes and Fred. However, their No. 7 was not content and stormed down the tunnel in the dying moments of the game.
The Brazilian international Fred scored the game’s first goal shortly after the break, deflecting a shot past Hugo Lloris and into the goal.
Later, Fernandes secured the outcome with a stunning goal to excite the home crowd. Fernandes is a Portugal international.
Ronaldo, though, was absent throughout the game’s closing seconds.
Ten Hag ignored the veteran and introduced Antony Elanga, which caused the veteran to stomp out of the tunnel.
The United manager has now asserted that he will “handle” the forward, implying that he did not permit him to leave the game.
The 52-year-old confirmed to Amazon Prime that he was present and saw the man, but that he hasn’t spoken to him.
Erik stated that he would take care of that tomorrow. While we are enjoying this victory, we now have to prepare for Saturday’s game against Chelsea, another important matchup. This is what makes the Premier League so thrilling.
He remarked that he believed his team played better versus Liverpool and Arsenal when evaluating their performance.
The manager believes they improved against Tottenham and in recent weeks as well. He also believes they are maturing as a team and becoming more proactive both in and out of possession.
As an attacking player, there are instances when you go for extended stretches without scoring before you finally manage to. He did well today, both in the game and otherwise.
We did it today. First, you take ownership of an organization and then you determine the intensity.
