Romelu Lukaku returned to Inter earlier this summer, and Thomas Tuchel has been eager to add a new striker. Over the past few weeks, negotiations to sign Aubameyang have advanced.
According to the transfer guru himself, Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona and Chelsea have reached full agreement on a permanent transfer deal that would bring Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Stamford Bridge, and on transfer deadline day, Marcos Alonso will join Camp Nou.
Romano claims that Chelsea will pay 14 million euros for Aubameyang, who will arrive in London at 5:00 PM CET for a medical check and contract signing. On the other hand, Alonso has already arrived in the Catalan capital and will have a medical before signing a three-year contract that was reached back in April.
These two transactions should become official in the coming hours, but there will be more information to come on several other fronts as Barça continues to move around on a busy Deadline Day.
However, Barcelona must first raise money to order to fulfill their possibly ambitious wish list, which still includes signing Bernardo Silva from Manchester City.

According to the report, Aubameyang has finally been permitted to travel to London to complete his transfer.
Aubmeyang, whose contract with Arsenal was terminated in February, now has a two-year deal with Chelsea that includes a third-season option.
Aubameyang is one of the numerous players who have been labeled surplus to requirements despite having already scored 13 goals and provided an assist in 24 games.
The 33-year-old reportedly had four men assault him and threaten him with guns before turning to social media.
Aubameyang injured his jaw during a heist at his home in Spain early on Monday morning; nevertheless, it is unknown when he will make his Chelsea debut.
He could choose surgery, but he has been advised that letting it heal naturally will produce faster results.
