Christopher Nkunku’s contract with Chelsea.
Fabrizio Romano claims that Chelsea will soon make Christopher Nkunku’s signing official. The 25-year-old will start sporting Chelsea’s colors soon. The Blues have already signed Nkunku to a contract, and they will introduce him as their new player in the coming days.
Prior to joining RB Leipzig in the summer of 2019, Nkunku rose through the ranks at Paris Saint-Germain. The 25-year-old forward is better and better since relocating to Germany to play for the German team. In his 36 appearances so far this season, the French international has contributed to 32 goals.
He has nine assists to go along with his 23 goals and 23 goals scored. Nkunku has become well-known due to his heroics on the field over the last few seasons. Numerous clubs kept an eye on him. But Chelsea was the first to move, and they’re about to make the announcement about his signing.
Following the arrival of Todd Boehly as their new owner, Chelsea made a bevy of expensive signings. They seek out young, elite players who can aid them in long-term success. They also had Nkunku on their radar.
Following an amicable personal agreement between the Blues and the player, medicals were conducted in September of last year. The two clubs then came to an agreement on a price for the 25-year-old French forward.
Contracts had been signed by December after a compromise had been reached. The club was successful in hiring a priority target who would sign with the Blues before the upcoming season.
Now that the season is officially over, the Blues are ready to welcome the French international. They will finalize a few details before introducing the 25-year-old as their new star. Romano claims that because Nkunku’s medical and contract work were finished back in the day, he should be introduced as a Chelsea player very soon.
