Chelsea Has Set A Price For Christian Pulisic Following The USA’s World Cup Goal Against Iran.

Christian Pulisic might depart Chelsea soon.

According to reports, Chelsea will attempt to recoup between £26 million and £30 million for Christian Pulisic. After the winger’s crucial goal for the USA against Iran at the World Cup on Tuesday, the Blues are reportedly willing to sell the player.

In their final Group B match in Qatar, the USA defeated Iran 1-0 on a goal from Pulisic. The team led by Gregg Berhalter has advanced to the round of 16, where they will face the Netherlands on Saturday.

Only three Premier League starts and one Champions League start has the 24-year-old made for Chelsea so far this year. His Stamford Bridge contract expires in just over 18 months, and rumors of a transfer have begun.

Pulisic has been connected to both Juventus and Inter Milan. According to the Italian publication TuttoJuve, Chelsea is considering selling the player.

The Blues are looking to recoup at least £26 million of the £57 million they spent on Pulisic’s transfer from Borussia Dortmund in January 2019. If Chelsea gets their desired amount, they think their losses on Pulisic would be almost zero.

According to the report, Juve can only afford to spend between £26 million and £30 million. The resignation of the entire board earlier this week has left the Serie A giants in shambles.

For Chelsea, Pulisic has made 133 appearances across all leagues, contributing 21 assists and 26 goals. He is not in Graham Potter’s preferred starting XI, though.

Last month, Jamie Carragher insisted that Pulisic would benefit from leaving Chelsea in an interview with American television. He advises the forward to emulate his former teammate Timo Werner, who left the Blues in search of a regular role in the first team.

Pulisic should think about joining a smaller club, Carragher told CBS Sports. Many football players are unique, and I sometimes find it puzzling when I observe certain players at clubs for an extended period but they never really integrate into the team.
