During the summer transfer window, there have been rumors of a sensational deal involving Chelsea and Manchester City.
However, Chelsea spends more than £300 million during the January transfer window. Additionally, Todd Boehly, the owner of Chelsea, is already making his summer wish list.
While Pep Guardiola searches for a replacement for Joao Cancelo, City is reportedly planning to sign a full-back during the upcoming transfer window.
This might result in a spectacular trade between Chelsea and City.
Cancelo is presently on loan at Bayern Munich of the German Bundesliga. There is a buy option for £62 million, which the Bavarian club believes is too expensive.

Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell is reportedly a target for City. “Ben Chilwell is one of the players Manchester City has valued for years,” transfer expert Fabrizio Romano told Caught Offside.
“He’s one of the left-backs to think of. However, I understand that he’s not the only one. They’ll have a shortlist of candidates for that position and, in May or June, they and Pep will decide how to proceed.”
Cancelo moving to Chelsea and Chilwell to the Etihad Stadium could be the ideal way for everything to work out. The two of the best full-backs in the world would swap in that stunning move.
Guardiola recently said, “I wish him the best,” about Cancelo’s loan move to Bayern. The next season, I’m not sure what will happen to him. He has four months [in Munich].
“In the last two Premier League titles we’ve won, he’s been a fantastic figure. We began playing in different formations following the World Cup. I gave those on the pitch more time after deciding I liked what I had seen.”
