Arsenal may HIJACK Chelsea’s transfers for two midfielders after Mykhailo Mudryk’s disappointment.
Mykhailo Mudryk, a superstar from Ukraine, may have eluded Arsenal. Chelsea did sign him this month after making a last-minute move, but the Gunners might get back at them.
Chelsea may be interested in signing Amadou Onana and Moises Caicedo, but Mikel Arteta’s Premier League rivals are reportedly considering sabotaging those talks.
There are rumors that Arsenal will use the coming summer transfer window to make a marquee midfield acquisition. Moreover, Declan Rice, the captain of West Ham United, is the candidate they are most interested in.
However, it appears that Arteta also has options outside of Everton’s Onana and Brighton’s Caicedo. But this month, the Seagulls have turned down two offers from Chelsea for Caicedo totaling more than £55 million.
Newly turned 21-year-old international from Ecuador has been tremendously impressive for Brighton this year.
In 2020, Caicedo came very close to signing a bargain contract to join Manchester United. But in February 2021, he was finally acquired by the astute south coast club for just £5 million.
For the time being, he has pledged his allegiance to Roberto De Zerbi. In the summer, he might have to vacate Amex Stadium.

Moises Caicedo
Caicedo recently said, “You hear rumors here and there. “But I only makes an effort to concentrate on the club I’m currently playing for, the club that made it possible for me to play there every week.
“I can only concentrate on this, so I don’t care about or allow other things to bother me.”
Arsenal is reportedly seeking to sign Onana, who has also drawn significant interest from Chelsea.
Whether the Stamford Bridge club will be successful in their resurrected efforts to sign Benfica and Argentina superstar Enzo Fernandez this month remains to be seen.
According to reports, negotiations have resumed, but the Portuguese club will probably demand a transfer fee of more than £100 million. Todd Boehly, the new owner, is still making extravagant purchases in West London. Since the summer, Chelsea has brought in 14 players.
