After playing with the famous forward for the first time last week, Antony has lavished praise on his ‘amazing’ Manchester United colleague Cristiano Ronaldo.
Within weeks of completing his eagerly anticipated £85 million transfer from Ajax on the deadline day, Antony was immediately included in United’s starting XI for their match against Arsenal last Sunday and made an immediate impression on the supporters at Old Trafford.
On his debut, he opened the scoring in the Red Devils’ 3-1 victory over the Gunners before being replaced by Ronaldo just before the hour mark.
Last Thursday’s opening Europa League match gave the Brazilian winger his chance to play with the Portuguese superstar, but they were unable to stop United from losing 1-0 to Real Sociedad.
Though Antony claims to have learned a lot in a short amount of time, he has expressed his pleasure at getting to play with one of his heroes.
The best in the world, according to Antony, is so good that words cannot do him justice. I’ve learned so much from him in just a few days. Every time I speak with him, I learn a lot because of his outstanding intelligence.

Antony has already wowed spectators with his ingenuity and skill in his first two games, and he has pledged to keep doing so.
Antony has consistently done this for all of the teams he has played for, not just this one, and he has been doing it since he was a young youngster. That attribute, according to him, is his.
Antony said that he has already started to adapt and get adjusted to things here and that he has always enjoyed entertaining, and he will keep doing it.
However, due to the postponement of United’s match at Crystal Palace on Sunday due to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, he will have to wait a bit longer than planned to have that opportunity.
United’s next match is currently scheduled for Thursday when it will travel to Sheriff in the Europa League.
